Idols runner-up gets a gift of his own
February 3, 2007The life of Idols runner-up Gift Gwe has changed significantly in the last six weeks.In that short time, the tall Queenstown-born singer, whose laid-back charm and jazzy voice made him a national heart-throb, has become a dad and married his sweetheart.This week Gwe, 23, said he was enjoying being a family man and that his son, Khanya, who was born in Durbanville on December 14 last year, was the light of his life.

"I love him a lot, that's why I have bound myself in marriage," says Gwe.
Gwe married Notukela Makohliso, 22, at his grandparents' home near Queenstown in the Eastern Cape last month. - Own Correspondent

Go Gift, if you know what's good for you, you'll take good care of Khanya's mom. If you don't, you should know that the whole of Stellenbosch University will be angry at you for not taking good care of our former SRC member.
